I taught two classes of students about game feedback and micro, macro and meta loops at Game College in Grenaa.
I wanted the students to have a fundamental idea of how you would design a game using these types of loops. When they then understood why and how to use the loops, they were taught to analyze existing games.
With this new knowledge, they were able to analyze and figure out why they like some games and dislike others. Some of the students also started trying to fix some of the games they disliked using what they had learned about feedback loops.
